Huawei has recently conducted a campus recruitment programme at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), offering employment opportunities to graduating students in the fields of information and communication technology. 

Approximately 300 students from various departments of the university participated in a screening process, which included a multiple-choice examination and individual interviews. Candidates selected through the process will be offered positions at Huawei, as per a press release.

A pre-screening session was led by Huawei's Senior HR Manager Md. Fara Newas. The session focused on current trends in the global and national telecommunications sectors, as well as Huawei's contributions to industry development.

Linxiao, HR Director, Huawei, said, "Huawei is a family of fresh graduates and senior experts. We find this mix very valuable where the new joiners from universities always come with new ideas. CUET is full of bright students and we are happy to include those bright minds in Huawei."

Huawei stated that a significant portion of its workforce in Bangladesh consists of locally recruited employees, many of whom are also contributing to the company's international operations.
