PUBG Mobile to launch local server for Bangladesh

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile has announced plans to launch a dedicated local server for Bangladesh on April 20. The local server is expected to go live in the coming months.
According to a press release, the company also launched first-ever 'PUBG Mobile National Championship 2025' in Bangladesh, with a total prize pool of BDT 10 lakh. Players can register in the championship until 25 April 2025, with no participation fee.
In addition to competitive gameplay, PUBG Mobile shared several initiatives planned for Bangladesh. These include campus engagement, training local talent for international platforms, and investments in creative development tools such as the World of Wonder (WOW) platform. Through this platform, players are encouraged to design, share, and explore custom maps, cultivating skills in game design and digital storytelling, according to a press release.
In a statement, a spokesperson from PUBG Mobile's South Asia division said, "We are thrilled to resume our journey in Bangladesh—a country with limitless potential in gaming and esports. Our goal is to work hand in hand with local stakeholders to build a sustainable, responsible, and inspiring gaming environment."
