Ervine wants Zimbabwe to ‘stick to their plans’ in second Test

Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine did not want to attract pressure by thinking too much about the opportunity of a series win and instead wants stick to their plans in the second and final Test against Bangladesh in Chattogram starting tomorrow.
"I think it's really important to obviously understand the processes that got you to that Test win. It's not about putting added pressure on ourselves just because we are 1-0 up and there's an expectation to come in and win the series," Ervine told reporters in the pre-match press conference today.
"We need to break it down into small bits and make sure we stick to our processes and stick to our plans. You do that for as long as possible to give yourself the best chance. You can't really be thinking about the outcome too early," he added.
Before the three-wicket win against the Tigers in Sylhet in the first Test, Zimbabwe had gone without a Test win in over four years.
The win over Bangladesh has improved the vibe in the Zimbabwean camp, said Ervine.
"I think the win in Sylhet brought a good vibe, a good atmosphere, and also belief. It's a nice place to be at the moment… We would like to do that as well as we can to win the Test."
