McKenzie, McMillan hold talks

South African Neil McKenzie had already tendered his resignation as batting consultant for the Bangladesh team and the Tigers roped in Craig McMillan as batting coach for their upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
The BCB had requested McMillan to gather some ideas about the Bangladesh players by talking to Mckenzie. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Cricket Operations Chairman (COC) Akram Khan confirmed that the talk between the former and the present batting coach took place today.
"We're readying 28 players and from that we will probably thin it down to 22. We had some important discussions about management and the first thing was that we wanted our former batting coach Mckenzie to share his experience with the new batting coach.
"The meeting just ended and he (Mckenzie) gave some excellent briefs to our new batting coach regarding the Bangladesh players," Akram informed.
The COC also informed that McMillan would directly fly from New Zealand and go to Sri Lanka. "He is likely to stay in Sri Lanka for 40 to 50 days," he concluded.
