Shohoz is going to launch 'Shohoz Health' application, a comprehensive digital health solution to connect the users with over a hundred specialised doctors in the country in its bid to fight the current Covid-19 crisis and build a technology empowered solution for our healthcare sector.

The 'Shohoz Health' app will be launched officially on May 16, according to a press release issued recently.

This state-of-the-art digital healthcare app will allow users access to video-based medical consultation from specialized doctors from anywhere in Bangladesh. Besides, it will also allow users to receive prescription as well as medicine delivery from over 100 pharmacies – all under the Shohoz Super App.

"We are delighted that we could bring this much needed service in this time of pandemic.  We are closely working with the healthcare ecosystem players to bring the best healthcare consultations on a single platform," said Maliha M Quadir, founding managing director of Shohoz.

"We will build this up to include all possible digital healthcare services. We are also delighted to offer free healthcare consultations for the Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF)," she added.

Through the 'Shohoz Health' app, users will be able to receive consultation from specialised doctors of renowned hospitals of the country such as Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bangladesh Medical College & Hospital, CMH, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Bangladesh Specialised Hospital, City Dental College, Popular Medical College and many more.

Renowned child specialist of the country Dr Kazi Naushad-Un-Nabi, among others, will be providing consultation on Shohoz Health app. 

The 'Shohoz Health' app aims to ensure that people from anywhere across Bangladesh can have access to healthcare and doctors' consultation at this time when the country is battling to contain Covid-19 outbreak. Moreover, users can avail the prescribed medicines conveniently from popular pharmacies like Lazz Pharma, Tamanna Pharmacy, Prescription Point, Al Madina Pharmacy, among others.
