Prof Mohammad Ali Naqi, also an architect, has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of Stamford University Bangladesh for next four years, said a press release.

Prof Naqi completed his bachelor and masters in architecture from Buet and started his career as a lecturer at Khulna University in 1991. He later became the head of architecture at the university. In 2006, he joined Stamford University Bangladesh as the chair of the Department of Architecture.
