The Bangladesh Women's Cricket team finally tasted success on their European tour when they posted a four-wicket victory against Ireland Women's team in their T20 match at the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Dublin on Tuesday.
The home team managed to score 92 runs for four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Clare Shillington made the team highest 34 runs.
Salma Khatun, Khadijatul Kubra, Jahanara Alam and Rumana Ahmed took one wicket each.
In reply, Bangladesh recovered from 5 for two to reach the target with one ball and four wickets to spare thanks to a 66-run third wicket partnership between Salma Khatun (41) and Lata Mondol (29). Elena Tice claimed three wickets.
Bangladesh were scheduled to play their last T20 match against Pakistan yesterday.
