Written and directed by Idris Haidar, drama serial Syed Barir Bou will be aired tonight on ATN Bangla at 8:40 pm. The serial follows the ups and downs of an extended, aristocratic family.
Syed Ahsan, one of the members of the family went abroad for higher education, leaving his newly married wife and never came back. Broken hearted, his wife Kumkum becomes ill. Hasan, another of the Syeds, has become insane after one of his uncles poison him with dhutura. Baishakhi, the only daughter in the family, marries someone the family considers a “mismatch”. When the family decides to arrange a marriage between Kumkum and her brother in-law Roman, Kumkum's husband returns. The saga of the family goes through twists and turns.
