"Borbaad's" popularity has been skyrocketing since its premiere during Eid-ul-Fitr. Fans are still having a hard time grabbing tickets for the movie in cinema halls.

Yesterday evening, the film's production house, Real Energy Production, revealed the nationwide gross ticket sales figures.

As per the latest data released on its ninth day in theatres, "Borbaad" has generated an impressive Tk 27.43 crore in ticket sales within just seven days.

In comparison, Shakib Khan's earlier release "Priyotoma", which came out during Eid-ul-Azha in 2023, reached a similar milestone of Tk 27 crore over the course of a month.

Therefore, "Borbaad" matched that achievement in only a week.

The film continues to draw large audiences, with around 65 screenings still running across Cineplexes and multiplexes in Dhaka on its ninth day.

Beyond the capital, it is also performing strongly in 112 single-screen cinemas nationwide.

The cast includes Idhika Paul opposite Shakib Khan, along with Mamunur Rashid, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Intekhab Dinar, Misha Sawdagar, and Jisshu Sengupta.

The item number "Chand Mama" features a special appearance by Nussrat Jahan.
