Adjusting to the 'new normal', 2021 saw a lot of weddings, both grand and low-toned, with famous faces sharing the good news with their fans on their social media.

Looking back at the celebrations, let us walk down the aisle again, revising some of the biggest celebrity weddings that took place in 2021.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum

Hilton and Reum tied the knot on November 11, within less than a year after he proposed in February.

Their wedding treasured a series of events, including their combined bachelor-bachelorette party, the Alice in Wonderland themed bridal shower, the wedding, the reception and the after parties. The reception was held at Bel-Air estate of Barron Hilton.

Hilton took to her Instagram, posting clicks as she walked down the aisle, dressed in a beautiful white full-sleeve gown designed by Oscar de la Renta.

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez secretly married in the singer's Montecito home in Calif, on May 15, this year. Less than 20 guests were invited in the private ceremony, where the couple exchanged informal vows and rejoiced their togetherness.

The Grammy winner wore a strapless silk gown by Vera Wang while Gomez complemented her in a black tux and tie.

Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell

 "Emily in Paris" star Lily Collins and director Charlie McDowell got married on September 4 in Colorado after dating for two years.

Lily Collins looked stunning in a Ralph Lauren long-sleeved gown, in the ceremony that she described as 'magical'.

Freida Pinto and Cory Tan

In October 2021, Freida Pinto announced on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" that she and her fiancé Cory Tran secretly married during quarantine.

"We just understood we were going to be planning this for the rest of our lives and possibly never fulfilling it. So, one day, we decided to just get married in the Honda Center in Anaheim," she shared.

Nicolas Cage and Riko Shibata

On February 16, Nicolas Cage married Riko Shibata at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, choosing that day to commemorate the actor's late father, August Coppola's birthday. Cage and Riko had exchanged traditional Catholic and Shinto vows in Shiga, Japan.

Rajukmmar Rao and Patralekhaa

"Kai Po Che" famed actor Rajkummar Rao married his long term girlfriend Patralekhaa married in Chandigarh on November 15. For 11 years, the couple dated.

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and fashion designer Natasha Dalal became the talk of the town with their wedding. "Lifelong love just become official," Varun captioned the wedding images on social media on January 24.

Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar

Yami Gautam tied the knot with filmmaker Aditya Dhar on June 4. The actress took to her Instagram, sharing photographs from her wedding. She described the event as a new chapter in her life filled with "love and friendship."

Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi

Dia Mirza's eco-friendly wedding ceremony with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi drew a lot of attention. The couple chose to challenge the stereotypical social conventions by electing a female priest to preside over the rituals, which also became the topic for many dinner table conversations.

Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif and acclaimed actor Vicky Kaushal tied the knot on December 9 at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Being one of the most awaited wedding of the year, the celebrations were syncronised in a lovely wedding ceremony.

Popular TV actor and model Niloy Alamgir married Tasnuva Tabassum, a first-year student at Dhaka's College of Home Economics on July 7, in an intimate ceremony at their house.

The couple decided to keep the celebrations limited due to the rising Covid cases at that time and to keep away from the media spotlight. The wedding was attended by a small group of friends and family members.

Popular singer Nancy married noted lyricist Mohsin Mehedi in the presence of their friends and family.

Popular musician Habib Wahid tied the knot with model Afsana Chowdhury Shifa. He broke the news of the marriage on social media on January 12.
