Prof Hazrat Ali has been appointed as the vice chancellor of First Capital University of Bangladesh, Chuadanga, says a press release.

Prior to this, Prof Ali was chairman, Department of Agronomy, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU); director, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural Research System; and treasurer, SAU. He is the country representative of Asia Pacific Weed Science Society.
