Members of BCS Customs and Vat Association and BCS Taxation Association protested the attack on Barrister Jahangir Hossain, National Board of Revenue (NBR) member, who was shot in Dhaka on Monday.
The protest was voiced after a meeting of the associations at the NBR yesterday, a statement said.
They also asked for help with Hossain's treatment and demanded punishment for the criminals.
The officials also urged for better protection for high officials.
