Stocks opened higher in the morning trade today, extending their rally for the fourth consecutive day. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 46.31 points or 0.88 percent to 5,281.26 as of 11:08 am. 

Trading activity was positive as 239 issues advanced, 88 declined and 52 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 211.13 crore. 

Shares of Bashundhara Paper Mills surged the most, 9 percent, while shares of Zaheen Spinning dropped the most, 4 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.51 percent, gaining 75.37 points to14,560.28.
