Mosharraf Karim is one of the most-seen faces on television during Eid, but this time, he will be joined by a new co-artiste. For the first time, Kolkata-based actress Madhumita will be seen alongside him in a telefilm.

“Meghbalika”, directed by Parvez Amin and scripted by Mohiuddin Ahmed, will be aired by ntv on the second day of Eid at 2pm. Mosharraf will be playing a character named Imran, and Madhumita will appear as Sreya.

The plot revolves around Sreya who runs away from home and travels far into a mountain range. This creates turmoil within her family and her father offers a handsome reward to anyone that can retrieve her. Imran undertakes this task, and finds Sreya, and romance blossoms between them.

“'Meghbalika' was filmed in a picturesque location of India,” informed Parvez Amin. Mosharraf Karim said, “Working in this telefilm has been an amazing experience, and viewers will see something they've never seen before.”
