Earlier in March 2020, Pathao joined the online medicine delivery service through Pathao Pharma, delivering over-the-counter medicine. As of July 15th, Pathao Pharma is introducing delivery of prescribed medicine as well. In association with Lazz Pharma and Tamanna Pharmacy, Pathao app is going to allow its users to order prescribed medicine and get it delivered in under 40 mins by simply uploading a picture of their prescription on the app. As for now, Pathao has been running pilot programs in places like Bashundhara and Uttara. So far the pilot tests have generated positive results, with 50-70 orders a day.

Pathao Pharma claims to have ensured order efficiency and promptness in the service with the use of PharmaOS, an integrated software platform developed completely in-house. Moreover, it integrates personalisation by allowing customers to 'order again' with a single tap from its order log, provides real-time updates of medicine and rider availability and allows both cash or digital transactions for wider user accessibility.
