Team Adamantine to fly Hong Kong in June to represent Bangladesh

Team Adamantine from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has recently secured first place in the 'Business Case Competition 2025' and will represent Bangladesh at the HSBC/HKU Asia Pacific Business Case Competition in Hong Kong this June.
The international event, hosted by HSBC and the University of Hong Kong, will feature teams from more than 20 countries. Alongside the opportunity to compete internationally, Team Adamantine was awarded a development fund of BDT 200,000.
Describing her emotions after winning the national round, Rubaiyat Tabassum Islam, a member of Team Adamantine said, "It still feels unreal thinking that we will be representing Bangladesh in the global round."
"We loved working with our assigned mentor in the national round. As a team, we are extremely grateful for all the support and mentorship along with proactive feedback, resources, questions, everything," she added.
The competition also saw Team Broke Bankers from North South University (NSU) finish as runners-up, receiving BDT 100,000. Team Pencil Musketeers, also from BUP, claimed third place and a prize of BDT 50,000.
The national competition was jointly organised by HSBC Bangladesh and BRAC Business School, BRAC University. The grand finale and award ceremony took place at BRAC University's Multipurpose Hall in Dhaka, where five finalist teams competed for the top honours.
Judges commended the finalists for their analytical strength, creativity, and professionalism, mentioning the calibre of Bangladesh's emerging business leaders.
The Business Case Competition 2025 is part of HSBC's global commitment to skills development and is aimed at fostering strategic and analytical thinking among undergraduate students. Organised by BRAC University's student-run business club, BIZ BEE, the competition began with intra-university rounds and progressed through national-level stages, including quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the grand finale.
The initiative offers participants the chance to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges while engaging directly with business professionals. It also provides a platform for international exposure, as the national champion competes against peers from across the Asia Pacific region.
