Director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki has been hospitalised due to a minor brain stroke. Currently, he is under observation in the Neuro-ICU as per the doctors' advice.

Arifin Shuvoo responded to a question about how well he portrayed the role of Bangabandhu by saying, "I'm not the one who should judge that; the audience will. What I can say is that the film's director, Shyam Benegal, is quite satisfied with my performance. Additionally, Bangabandhu's family has seen the film and expressed their satisfaction.
