Following his performance in Dammam earlier this month, popular Bangladeshi rock icon Nagar Baul James is set to perform in Jeddah as part of Saudi Arabia’s “Passport to the World” event series, initiated under government patronage. The Dammam leg of the concert took place on May 2 at Al Khobar’s Al Iskan Park, where James enthralled a massive crowd of expatriates. He is scheduled to take the stage in Jeddah on May 9.
Under the initiative of “Shobar Agey Bangladesh Foundation”, a series of “Swadhinata Concerts” will be held simultaneously in four divisional cities, including Dhaka, on April 11.
Rock icon Mahfuz Anam James is set to electrify audiences in the United States as he gears up for a grand concert in Dallas. The event, titled “Chapter Two: James Live in Dallas”, will take place on June 14 at the Plano Event Centre.
Notably, the concert’s main attraction was the renowned rock artist Nagar Baul James. Other scheduled performers included the bands Chirkutt, Artcell, Shonar Bangla Circus, Bengal Symphony, Bangla Five, Cryptic Fate, Kurighor, Kaaktal, as well as singer Farzana Wahid Shayan, among others.
The Tarunner Utsab (Youth Festival) 2025 is being celebrated across the country to inspire a new Bangladesh with the theme "Come, Let’s Change the Nation, Let’s Change the World”. The festivities will continue to run until February 19.

Held at Manik Mia Avenue, the event is set to run till 11pm today (December 16), bringing together some of the country’s most celebrated artistes and performers.
Each year, a range of programmes are organised to commemorate the Month of Victory, and this year is no different. To celebrate Victory Day, an open-air concert has been scheduled in the capital, featuring James alongside some of the country’s most renowned artistes.
On a show featuring a stellar lineup, which included the epitomes of '90s Bangla rock — Miles, Nagar Baul, Ark, and Dalchhut — alongside Drockstar Shuvo and the prodigious Oni Hasan, with Jon Kabir, Jamshed Chowdhury, and Kazi Zohad Yazdani, perhaps the most delightful scene was seeing a notable number of attendees who grew up in the 1980s and 1990s.

Apart from Nagarbaul, popular West Bengal band Fossils will also perform at the event. The frontman of Fossils, Rupom Islam is James’ fan. The organisers have tagged this concert refering it to a tie between to Bengals. Through this concert the audience will witness a significant collaboration between two Bengals.
The immensely popular musical venture of last year “The School of Rock” is making its return with its second edition on February 16, featuring Ashes, Shonar Bangla Circus, Plasmic Knock, Blue Jeans etc. and James as the headliner of the concert.
In an effort to enchant audiences amidst the chilling winter, James is gearing up for his first open-air concert of the year outside Dhaka. Nagar Baul James is thus set to enthral fans in Brahmanbaria on January 27.
