Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) is set to host 'Socio-Genius Interuniversity Quiz Competition' virtually, with sociology students from various universities around the world. The competition will be organised by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of GUB, in collaboration with Sun Flower- SF, a non-governmental organisation. It will be held on May 8, 2021 at 12 pm (GMT + 6 hours).

Zoom and the Kahoot app will be used to conduct the event. The registration deadline for the competition is May 5, 2021. The competition has received responses from students in India, Malaysia, and Nigeria so far.

Green University Social Bonding Club's goal is to equip students with the means to work on social challenges and opportunities for the betterment of the community. The club has organised many social activities so far, including mask distribution drives for rickshaw pullers and sharing of resources with fire victims and slum dwellers.
