Bangladesh had to be content with a silver medal in the recurve mixed team event of the Archery World Cup in Lausanne today following a defeat to Netherlands in the final.

Ruman Sana and Diya Siddique, who had created a bit of history for Bangladesh by reaching the final of a World Cup event for the very first time, lost by 5-1 set points (36-30, 35-35, 37-34) against 2nd-ranked Netherlands side, featuring Sjef Van Den Berg and Gabriela Schloesser.
