Bangladesh lost 2-0 against Qatar in their first match of the Under-19s Three Nations Cup at the Aspire Academy in Doha on Saturday night.

The hosts took the lead through Mekki Tombari in the 33rd minute before Diyab Taha wrapped up the victory for Qatar with the team’s second goal in the 52nd minute.

Bangladesh will take on Kuwait in their second and final match of the tournament tonight. The tournament will end following the match between Qatar and Kuwait on Wednesday night.
