Bashundhara Kings moved into the quarterfinals of the Walton Under-18 Football Tournament with a 3-0 win over former champions Mohammedan at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.

Sabbir, Raihan and Shuvo scored in the second half for he Kings to take them through to the last eight from Group C after having played out a goalless draw against Abahani in their first match.

Meanwhile, Arambagh moved into the last eight from Group B following their 3-0 win over Rahmatganj in the day’s other match. The result also took Sheikh Jamal, who had beaten Rahmatganj 5-0 in the group’s opening fixture on Sunday, into the quarterfinals.
