The Professional League Management Committee (PLMC) of Bangladesh Football Federation on Wednesday decided to hold the remainder of the Federation Cup final between Abahani and Bashundhara Kings next Tuesday at the same venue – Rofique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.

The meeting also decided to restart the game at 3:30pm.

"As the referee expressed his inability to continue the match due to bad light, we have, as per the bylaws, decided to stage the remainder of the Federation Cup final next Tuesday at the same venue from 3:30pm," PLMC's deputy chairman Zakir Hossain Chowdhury told reporters after the meeting, adding that there was no room to discuss the matter with two finalists before taking the decision.

Thunderstorm and heavy shower halted play at the start of the second half of the final on Tuesday and it took more than an hour to resume the match. However, referee Saymon Hasan called off the match due to insufficient light after conducting 105 minutes, with the scoreline 1-1.
