After four players left to play for Paro FC in the Bhutan National Women's League on April 6, five more footballers have left Dhaka for the Bhutanese capital on Sunday morning.

The players are: Masura Parvin, Rupna Chakma, Sanjida Akhter, Maria Manda and Shamsunnahar Sr.

The former two players will play for Thimphu City FC while the latter three will play for Transport United.

Forward Krisha Rani Sarkar has been roped in by Transport United, but could not leave with them as her team were not yet able to arrange a work permit for her.

Earlier, Sabina Khatun, Matsushima Sumaya, Monika Chakma and Ritu Porna Chakma went to Bhutan on April 6, a day before national women's team's head coach Peter Butler returned from vacation and started a training camp.

Although the 13 senior players, except for Tohura Khatun and the four seniors who went to Bhutan on April 6, trained under Butler for a few days, none of the 18 senior players have as yet signed a contract with the federation.

The Bhutanese league is expected to begin on April 25 and run for four months.
