Booters focus on counter attacking against Indonesia

Bangladesh coach Javier Cabrera focused on defending and going on quick counterattacks in training in Bandung, Indonesia on Sunday, the second day of training ahead of the team's FIFA friendly against the hosts.
The men in red and green will play the friendly on Wednesday at Stadium Si Jalak Harupat, Bandung on June 1 before to Malaysia for the Asian Cup Qualifiers.
"Today's training focused on low block. The coach intended to show the players on how to go on quick attacks from the counter and what will be the shape of the defence when the ball goes into the sideline," assistant coach Hasan Al Mamun said through a video message after the training session.
Following the engagement of Bangladesh Premier League champions Bashundhara Kings in the AFC Cup, Cabrera was forced to conduct training sessions without the Bashundhara Kings players, who joined the national team just one day before their departure for Jakarta in the early hours of Friday.
The booters focused on recovery in the first training session in Bandung on Saturday but they all completed their training sessions together today after theoretical, gym and swimming sessions in the morning.
"We also worked on set-pieces. Yesterday [Saturday], we worked on how to defend ourselves and what to be our defensive organisation because we know Indonesia are a strong side who are going to play on their home ground. So, our target is to perform well against them and carry that performance to the Asian Cup Qualifiers," added Al Mamun.
Midfielder Sohel Rana was happy to be part of the full training session with the others.
"We had a nice training today because all players looked fresh in training," Sohel said. "The coach is planning on how to play against Indonesia and made the players understand their individual responsibility, so that we make less mistakes in the match. However, there is less room to make mistakes because the opponents are a higher-ranked side."
