BFF's Facebook page hacked

The official Facebook page of the Bangladesh national football team has been hacked, according to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Sunday.

It has been found that numerous posts featuring clips from foreign movies have been appearing on the page since yesterday.

"The official Facebook page of the Bangladesh National Football Team has been hacked. The Bangladesh Football Federation is working to recover the page. We apologise for the temporary inconvenience!," a statement from the federation said.

The page, managed by BFF's media wing, serves as a hub for updates related to all national football teams. The page boasts 17,000 likes and 78,000 followers even though it is not yet a verified page. Efforts are underway, it has been learned, to restore the functionality of the page.
