BFF boss Tabith eyes swift ticket fix, fan zones for Singapore match

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Tabith Awal expressed his optimism about seeing the online ticket sales for the Bangladesh–Singapore Asian Cup Qualifier resume after 10pm tonight, albeit in a limited capacity.
Speaking at the inauguration of the 32-team Kool-BSJA Media Cup football tournament at Paltan Ground in Dhaka, Tabith also revealed plans to set up fan zones with giant screens across all eight divisional headquarters, allowing supporters who can't enter the stadium to enjoy the June 10 clash at Dhaka's National Stadium.
"We're hopeful that ticket sales will resume in a limited form tonight after 10pm," Tabith told reporters.
"BFF always tries to innovate -- and in doing so, mistakes can happen. We admit that. The real issue isn't the delay, but how quickly we can resolve it."
Tickifylive started selling Bangladesh–Singapore match tickets on Saturday night, but many alleged that they could not buy the tickets as the server went down. Later, BFF in a statement informed that there were cyber-attacks twice on the Tickifylive portal -- thus they suspended the online ticket selling.
"What the requirement and demand of tickets is, some spectators won't be able to enter the stadium because there are only 18,000 tickets for the gallery while an additional 2,000 are beyond the gallery," said Tabith, adding that they would monitor spectators from buying tickets to entering the stadium -- as well as resist the sale of tickets on the black market.
He also added that the board intend to set up fan zones in eight divisional headquarters.
