Bangladesh women's football team end UAE tour with 3-1 loss

Bangladesh women's football team suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of hosts United Arab Emirates in the second and final FIFA friendly between the sides in Dubai on Sunday.
The women in red and green lost the first match by the same margin at the same venue on February 26.
Peter Butler's Bangladesh, who were without 18 rebel players -- many of them first team starters -- scored from the spot to get one goal back, courtesy of Afeida Khandokar's successful spot-kick, after trailing by 2-0 in the first half but failed to give the much superior home side a run for their money.
Afeida was the only player to find herself in the scoresheet in the two matches as she also netted Bangladesh's only goal in the first match.
Bangladesh will return home on Monday.
