Bangladesh defeated Bhutan 4-1 in the first of two FIFA friendlies in Dhaka at the Bangabandhu National Stadium today.

Bangladesh scored twice in the first half which ended 2-1. A dominant performance in the second half saw them create plenty of chances and add two more goals to win 4-1. The second match against Bhutan will take place on October 3 at the same venue.

Nabib Newaz Jibon opened the scoring in the first half with before scoring his second to double Bangladesh's lead.

Biplo Ahmed and Rabiul Hasan’s fine strikes in the second half gave them a comfortable victory.
