Tigresses cruise past Scotland with dominant batting display

Bangladesh women's cricket team kicked off their preparations for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025 in style, securing a commanding five-wicket win over Scotland in a warm-up fixture at the LCCA Ground in Pakistan today.
Chasing a challenging target of 252, the Tigresses displayed a composed and clinical batting performance, reaching 252 for 5 in just 41.3 overs. Sobhana Mostary led the charge with an unbeaten 57, while Farzana Haque chipped in with 48. Ritu Moni contributed 34, and Ishma Tanjim added a handy 26.
Earlier, Scotland put up a competitive total of 251 for 7 in their allotted 50 overs. Sarah Bryce top-scored with 58, while Darcey Carter (55) and Katherine Fraser (an unbeaten 52) added crucial runs to keep the scoreboard ticking. Katherine Bryce also contributed 31.
Ritu Moni picked up 2 for 22 in her economical spell, and Marufa Akter took 1 for 22.
