Baroda scored a whopping 349 runs in a T20 game against Sikkim in Indore in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Thursday, setting a new record for the highest team total in the format.    

Baroda's 349 for five in 20 overs was also the highest team total in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, surpassing Punjab's 275 against Andhra in the last edition of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe's 344 against Gambia in October this year was the previous highest team total in a T20 match. 

Baroda skipper Bhanu Pania remained unbeaten on 34 off just 51 deliveries while Abhimanyu Singh, Vishnu Solanki, and Shivalik Sharma also contributed significantly with half-centuries.
