Liton leaves for LPL

Bangladesh batter Liton Das left for the Lanka Premier League on Saturday, the player himself confirmed through a Facebook post.

The 28-year-old will join his compatriot Shakib Al Hasan in Galle Titans, who are bottom of the table with four points from six matches.

Liton has received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the remaining part of the tournament which will run till August 20.

Four out of the five teams competing will make it to the play-offs.
