Hamza benched as Sheffield seek revival; Leicester staring at relegation in PL

Bangladesh midfielder Hamza Choudhury was left out of the starting eleven as Sheffield United, chasing a Premier League return, look to arrest their recent slide away at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
The clash pits two sides on opposite ends of the Championship table. While Plymouth are fighting to avoid the drop, Sheffield arrive at Home Park desperate to bounce back after back-to-back defeats saw them slip out of the automatic promotion spots.
Sheffield boss Chris Wilder made five changes, with Hamza, on loan from Leicester City, named among the substitutes. The 26-year-old, who recently made his debut for Bangladesh in their AFC Cup fixture against India in Shillong, has been a regular starter for the Blades.
At the time of filing the report, Sheffield headed into half time with the score 1-0 in their favour after right-winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi struck in the 42nd minute.
Sheffield starting XI: Cooper, Hamer, O'Hare, Rak-Sakyi, Burrows, Ahmedhodžić, Clarke, Robinson, Souza, Cannon, Peck.
Subs: A. Davies, McCallum, Holding, Brewster, Moore, Brereton Diaz, Campbell, Hamza Choudhury, Seriki.
Leicester staring at relegation
Things are bleaker still for Hamza's parent club. Leicester's dismal campaign looks destined to end in relegation and a loss at Brighton on Saturday would push them to the brink of returning to the second tier after one season.
Mired in a woeful run of nine consecutive defeats in all competitions, Leicester will be 18 points adrift of safety with only six games left if they lose at Brighton and fourth-bottom Wolves beat Tottenham on Sunday.
For Bangladesh fans tracking Hamza Choudhury's fortunes abroad, the coming weeks will be a test of both club and character.
