Bangladesh paceman Mustafizur Rahman has been roped in by IPL side Chennai Super Kings at the base price of INR 2 crore during the IPL auction in Dubai today..

CSK earlier during the bid, roped in New Zealand duo Daryll Mitchell for 14 crore INR and Rachin Ravindra for INR 1.8 crore.

Bangladesh's Fizz, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam were set to go under the hammer but the BCB decided to only give NOC to Mustafizur while Taskin and Shoriful were denied due to national team assignments with the T20 World Cup coming right after the IPL.

Mustafizur will be playing for MS Dhoni's CSK, who also signed Shardul Thakur INR 5.80 crores.

Fizz had played for Delhi Capitals for the last two seasons. Previously he won the IPL with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
