Centurion Miraz sixth fastest to double of 2000 runs, 200 wickets

Mehedi Hasan Miraz scored his second Test century in Chattogram against Zimbabwe on Tuesday, and in the process became the sixth fastest to reach the club of 2000 Test runs and 200 Test wickets.
The all-rounder, who had reached 200 Test wickets in Sylhet last week in his 52nd Test match, got to 2000 Test runs in Chattogram on Wednesday.
Miraz became the second Bangladeshi to achieve the feat, with Shakib Al Hasan having previously attained the landmark as the first from Bangladesh.

Overall Miraz became the joint-fifth fastest to the feat, with Ian Botham (42), Imran Khan (50), Kapil Dev (50), R Ashwin (51), and R Jadeja (53) being the five fastest.
The all-rounder notched his second Test century off 143 balls as Bangladesh's first-innings lead swelled past 200.
