Bangladesh pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib expressed his overall satisfaction with the first day's practice session in Dubai and insisted that they will take preparation for the main game through their only warm-up match against Pakistan Shaheens.

Bangladesh, who began their preparation in Dubai for the Champions Trophy on Saturday after reaching there on Friday, are pitted in Group A alongside India, Pakistan and New Zealand.

The Tigers will begin their campaign against India on February 20 in Dubai before taking on New Zealand and Pakistan in their remaining Group A matches on February 24 and 27 respectively.

The Tigers are scheduled to play a warm-up game against Pakistan Shaheens on Monday at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai.

"We came to Dubai by a long flight at night. We took a rest the next day. So we had a good recovery and after completing our first practice [today], we are feeling really well," Tanzim said in a video message.

"We will take preparation for the main game from our practice match. We will try to gather knowledge about the wicket and will also try to know which delivery is effective here. We will also try to read in which delivery the batters will struggle from this practice match," he said.

"We had a very good first practice session. Firstly, we went to the gym and we had a net practice session. Everything went really nicely in all departments – batting, bowling and fielding. We are actually feeling well and that's the most important thing. So overall, we had a nice feeling in the practice," he concluded.
