The wedding-fest of Bangladesh cricketers continued today following the wedding of spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz yesterday as ace paceman Mustafizur Rahman tied the knot today at his home district of Satkhira. The wedding took place at 3pm this afternoon (Friday). The bride Sadia Parvin Shimu is a student of Dhaka University.

"The decision was taken quite quickly", Fizz's elder brother Mahfuzur Rahman told The Daily Star yesterday. The schedule of the imminent wedding was very tight and was planned very quickly as well. "The date was finalized 2-3 days ago. We are doing the program in a small scale [for now]. Just the Akht," Mahfuzur had added.

The plain and simple ceremony was attended by close friends and relatives.
