Renowned TV director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, who successfully ventured into productions for the silver screen, is set to make a smashing return with his impending film Jodi Ekdin. The director has recently signed Tollywood sensation Srabanti Chatterjee as the female lead opposite to both Taskeen Rahman and Tahsan Rahman Khan. Raz shared a Facebook status saying, "Only a day left to start making the arrangements for my daughter's wedding," metaphorically calling Jodi Ekdin his daughter. "Before kicking off the work, I felt it is necessary to reveal that Srabanti will depict the female lead role in my film," he added. The director also clarified that the Indian Bangla actor has completed all the legal process and received the work permit from Bangladeshi government. Jodi Ekdin is, however, not the first Bangladeshi film done by Srabanti, earlier she worked opposite to Shakib Khan in Shikari, an Indian-Bangladesh joint venture film.
