Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury's "Dhaka 2.00" and Josim Ahmed's "Daag" have been selected primarily in Cannes's "Short Film Corner".  "Dhaka 2.00" is an experimental psychological thriller which eventually found its way into the Cannes Festival Library. The director informed us that it might be showcased in the Palais Des Festival at any time from the 22nd to 28th May. "Daag" is a 13 minute film which follows the story of Shila, a girl brutally raped during the liberation war after her husband left as a guerilla fighter.     The story symbolizes the role of women during our liberation war. Both the films look promising and are expected to represent Bangladesh in Cannes.
