The blessings of a foodie buddy

If you find your bond with your bestie strengthening with every delicious foodgasm and find yourselves lying back together releasing greasy burps, you'll definitely relate to this article.
In the words of the wise chef Julia Child, "People who love to eat are always the best people." You will definitely find the integrity of this quote in your foodie best friend. See, if you've stuck around long enough, you'll notice that your foodie buddy is invariably hungry. Hence, they don't judge you for your incessant hunger. Instead, they almost certainly offer food. These best friends don't count your calories or drag you for a run at a crack of dawn -- they drag you to the new restaurant opening. And what better glue to hold that special bond than a cheesy delight or some whipped cream goodies.
Another complementary perk that comes with a foodie buddy is their unlimited cache of snacks they carry around everywhere. They may forget to pack essentials such as their phone charger or ID cards, but they'll never forget to load their backpacks with chips, chocolates or granola bars. Scratch that, food is the essential they care about. Hungry? Grab a snack from their bag and you're good to go.
If you've got a foodie best friend, you've seen some weird, questionable combinations of food, some of which may even make you gag. Your food loving best friend loves experimenting with flavours and the outcome doesn't necessarily always come out delectable. Unfortunately you being their best friend are the lab rat to all their culinary trials. And by now you've probably tasted it all, from deep fried pineapple to strawberry ice cream with chili flakes. I'm guessing you've a grown a pretty strong stomach by now, too.
Having a foodie best friend is pretty handy. You've got your personal, free-of-cost, food critique. Whenever you're confused about what to eat, just ask them. They've surely scavenged enough restaurants and tasted plenty chicken jhaal frezy to decide who delivers the absolute best.
And the best part about your friend is of course the laughter and joy you receive from endless tags in food related memes. They give you that daily dose of happiness from three of the best things in the world -- food, memes, and best friend (in no particular order of course). What else can one ask for?
However, foodie best friends do sometimes tend to get annoying with their eyes glued to food sites, posting reviews while you're in the middle of brunch talking about your crush. And don't even get me started with the endless Snapchat and Instagram posts. You know you won't be able to take a bite of that Tiramisu until your friend gets the perfect shot of it.
At the end of the day, you may find yourself wondering whether your best friends love for food overpowers their love for you. Of course moments later that doubt will be dominated by the taste of the apple pie dipped in tomato sauce they just stuffed in your mouth.
