Poorly Drawn Lines

Poorly Drawn Lines is a webcomic which comes out every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The art style is attractively simplistic and the colours used are mild. The contrast between the art style and the humour always works in favour of the comedy. Everything looks cute, innocent and like they belong in a children's book which makes most, if not all, punchlines all the more unexpected. The tales range from long to short, from fiction to non-fiction, and from cannibalism to moustaches to swords to nature and to how babies suck. Harmless-looking, talking animals are the subject of many of his comics. As for recurring characters, there are Astronaut Bill and Jacques Cousteau.
The genius behind Poorly Drawn Lines is Reza Farazmand. He, in his own words, "draws comics and writes things." He's got a blog too on the same site which claims that it will "… blow your mind, slap you in the face, steal your bicycle, scream Hungarian cuss words at your pets, and then take you out for lunch, because deep down it's just a nice guy with a rough exterior trying to hide his sensitive nature." So far, the blog's talked about contests he's in and shared a few playlists.
Poorly Drawn Lines isn't my favourite webcomic but only three others were interesting enough to prompt me to go through their entire archive. And I read a lot of webcomics. Okay, I'm more than halfway done and completion is located unnecessarily high on my to-do list. I do, however, much prefer his newer comics to his older ones.
