The yearning to touch the sky, the ocean beneath, or the horizon where the two converge, is deeply ingrained in the human psyche, and has been the source for aesthetic and literary progress, human imagination in a nutshell, since we learned to count time.
It may be physically impossible to touch hues in the divine scheme, but the breadth of our creativity makes it possible for us to take a pinch of a shade, any shade, and paint our own inner world.
There is something special about the shade — romance, tranquility, stability and on an opposite end, melancholia and solitude. The use of the wide spectrum of blue describes human imagination to perfection. We have the longing to fly, and blue in a way, gives us the wings to do exactly that!
From euphoric love to solemn grief, blue is the shade that symbolises our deepest of emotions. Green is the beginning, the sprouting of life from the seed, yellow perhaps the growth, but it is the rare blue flower that we all cherish, and one that makes life worth living.
This week Star Lifestyle delves deep into blue, and shares how a wayfarer sees life, and the blues in it.
