BCB XI beat Zimbabwe by 88 runs

Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) XI team today beat the visiting Zimbabwe team by 88 runs at Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
BCB XI won the practice match that was played ahead of Bangladesh’s five-match one day series (ODI) after the Tigers whitewashed Zimbabwe 3-0 in the Test series.
Losing the toss, BCB XI scored 282 runs in 50 overs with Nasir Hossain scoring the highest of 61 and significant contributions from Shamsur Rahman, 49, and Shuvagata Hom, 40.
Sibanda claimed four wickets.
In reply, Zimbabwe was bundled out for 194 runs with about five overs remaining. T Maruma scored 50 and Sikandar Raza 44.
Shafiul Islam, Mohammad Shahid, Abul Hasan and Sabbir Rahman claimed two wickets each while the remaining were picked by Muktar Ali and Nasir Hossain.
