The DC School Kabaddi (Boys and Girls) Tournament began at the Dhaka Kabaddi Stadium on Thursday.
In the boys group, Bhasa Shaheed Abdul Jabbar Ansar-VDP School & College made a good start outplaying Sanarpar Sheikh Mortaza Ali High School by 40-18 points with two creditable lonas while Siddheshwari Boys High School beat Dolairpar High School by 45-32 points with two lonas.
In the girls section, Bhasa Shaheed Abdul Jabber Ansar-VDP School & College crushed Dolairpar High School by 31-10 points with two lonas.
Sixteen teams -- eight each from boys and girls groups are taking part in the meet. Four more matches will take place today at the same venue.
