Bangladesh Test captain Shakib Al Hasan has arrived in the West Indies ahead of the two-match Test series, the team's Logistics Operations Manager Nafees Iqbal confirmed to The Daily Star today.

Shakib could not join in time to play the ongoing practice match for the Tigers before the Antigua Test, slated to begin on June 16, as he was enjoying a brief vacation with his family in the USA.

Liton Das-led Bangladesh side are currently playing a three-day warm-up match, which began on Friday, against the CWI President's XI at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
