Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka today extended the period for filling up online forms of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination 2021.

The board in a circular said institutions will have to complete selection of examinees online by August 31 and exam fees must be paid by September 4.

The filling up of forms started on August 12 and was scheduled to end on August 30.

Earlier, institutions were asked to complete selecting examinees by August 25 and exam fees were to be paid by August 30.

The board said students and guardians should not go to educational institutions physically for filling up forms for the sake of maintaining health guidelines.

On July 15, Education Minister Dipu Moni, in a virtual press briefing, said that Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent exams of 2021 will be held in November and December this year, only if Covid-19 situation in the country improves.
