Nor'wester forces 4 Dhaka-bound flights to land in Ctg, Kolkata

Two passenger and two cargo flights could not land at the Dhaka Airport due to the nor'wester that hit the capital today.
Three of them were diverted to Chattogram and one to Kolkata Airport in India, sources at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport said.
Flight no BS-174 of US-Bangla Airlines which was coming from Barishal was forced to divert to Chattogram Airport despite hovering for quite sometime in the sky.
A Turkish Airlines cargo flight coming from Bahrain landed at Kolkata Airport after waiting for about one and half an hour for landing at the HSIA.
A cargo of Quick Air YG-9053 coming from China and a Novo Air flight coming from Cox's Bazar were sent to Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport, sources at the HSIA said.
All the four flights will return to Dhaka at a convenient time, added the source.
