 The festival, Salman Shah Jonmo Utshab 2019, concluded yesterday, with the screening of the blockbuster film, Shotter Mrittu Nei. It was released on September 13, 1996, a week after Salman Shah’s demise. Chotku Ahmed is the director of the film, which also starred Shabana, Alamgir, Shahnaz and Raisul Islam Asad.

Dhooli Communications organised the festival to observe the 48th birth anniversary of Salman Shah. It was presented by the production company TM Films. Throughout the event, memorable films of Salman Shah, including Keyamot Theke Keyamot, Maayer Odhikar and Shopner Prithibi among others, were screened at Modhumita. Fans of the actor from all over the country attended the festival.

Mahmood Manzoor, the Managing Director of Dhooli Communications, informed that they are planning to organise a countrywide programme for Salman Shah’s 50th birth anniversary.
