The very severe cyclonic storm Fani is about to reach Bangladesh through Khulna region and its approach is already being felt from capital Dhaka.

Five people have died in lightning strikes during storms in Kishoreganj and Bagerhat.

In India, Two people died today after Cyclone Fani slammed into the eastern part of the country, officials said, as the storm sent coconut trees flying, blew away food stands and cut off power and water.
