Novoair yesterday started its flights on the Dhaka-Barisal route, the airline said in a statement.

The first flight took off from Dhaka to Barisal at 3:30pm, according to the statement. The one-way fare of the flight—which will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays—will be Tk 2,700.

Currently Novoair operates daily flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Saidpur, jessore, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Kolkata routes.
